Friends, I've been experiencing some wonderful new Reiki with clients and students, and wanted to share the following to get your feedback; perhaps this will be something you'd like to experiment with as well.

Using a slightly modified version of the spiritual surgery technique I learned in Glastonbury, I extend my hands slightly and pull energy through the feet. One person this week was greatly helped by this. The idea came as Reiki flowed during the session. Standing at the feet, I began to pull what seemed to be tangled roots. Long tendrils of dark matter came out in clumps, just like old roots from a potted plant.

When I sensed the "old growth" or whatever it was, was untangled and removed, I closed the feet with Reiki and drew symbols over this area. I feel that this was not removing a spiritual entity, as much as untangling old roots that no longer supported life. By seeing this person as a living being of great value and honor, and respectfully working in the lower chakras and feet, I was able to share a joyful and amazing healing session.

This has caused me to look more closely at how energy patterns manifest in our lives. Wonderful area of study! ~Russell
